Fit for Phoning

Telephoning in English is a difficult challenge even with good language skills. However, by implementing the relevant communication strategy, successful telephoning in English is easily and quickly learnt through specialized training. You’ll soon master the art of handling unexpected situations or calls.

Target group / Participants:
All company personnel required to conduct telephone conversations in English who have a basic knowledge of English (starting from CEF-level A2).

Programme Overview

The Language Skills:

  • Basic English for telephoning: Beginning and ending calls, connecting a call
  • Discussing and solving diverse communication problems
  • Giving and asking for information, dealing with enquiries
  • Leaving and taking messages, leaving voicemails
  • Arranging appointments, confirming and postponing
  • Complaint management

Role-play:

  • Through role-play, the structure of communication is practiced intensively and consolidated.
  • Analytical and constructive feedback helps to improve your performance and to overcome the fear of different telephone situations.
